Bob Flynn reports on the Seduction of the Idiots show here in Ottawa that runs until September 12. I haven’t been to the gallery to check it out yet, but everything looks great. Above are my three pieces for the show.

This image (via BoingBoing) may, on the surface, be unrelated to the content of the post, but it’s my new favourite thing ever, and that’s reason enough in my book.
Anyway, let’s cut to the wild goat chase. If you’re in Ottawa this weekend, be sure trot on over to the Seduction of the Idiots show at Canteen Gallery. The show is curated by Bob Flynn and David DeGrand and features the work of Chris “Elio” Eliopoulos, Michael DeForge, J.R. Goldberg, Kaz, Chris Houghton, Dan Moynihan, Katie Rice, Rebecca Sugar, and Steve Wolfhard. And me.
Sadly, I’ll be off camping in the wilderness, so I’ll miss the opening party on Friday night. And I’m the only local in the show. But, of course, I don’t like to think of it as “not attending”. I prefer to think of it as being “fashionably somewhere else”.
This comic was created as part of the upcoming Seduction of the Idiots show here in Ottawa. I’ll be away camping, so I’m going to miss the opening reception. Bummer.

I’m excited to have work on display alongside a pretty awesome lineup of artists as part of Seduction of the Idiots. The exhibit of cartoon and comic art runs from August 27th to September 12th here in Ottawa at the Canteen Gallery.
